The Eighteenth Annual California Independent Film Festival begins September 10th – 16th, 2015 brought to you by FilmBlogsAreUs. Here are a few films to watch Bay Area Premiere Queen and Country will be on September 12 at 9:00pm at the Orinda Theatre. This movie is about Bill Rohan who has grown up and is drafted into the army, where he and his eccentric best mate, Percy, battle their snooty superiors on the base and look for love in town. The second movie to watch is Eleven a documentary where World War Two veterans from Carrier Air Group 11 share stories with the grandson of one of their comrade-in-arms. That shows at 5:00pm at the Rheem Theatre. The third movie to watch is Love At First Sight at the Orinda Theatre 7:00pm. Love at first sight is a romantic comedy between friends and the family business. Amaud’s summer looks to be a peaceful one till he runs into Madeline.
Opening Night is Thursday September 10 at 6:30pm at the Rheem Theatre. Meet and greet Hollywood Icon Tab Hunter his documentary Tab Hunter Confidential will be at 7:30pm at the Rheem Theatre.
