A Gut-wrenching Dog Story–
the owners search for their dog throughout this Colorado wilderness experience.
“A Dog’s Way Home” is a new gut-wrenching story about a man and his dog. The dog travels 400 miles in search of her owner to find her way home. Training a dog in filming must be pretty hard; I’m looking forward to watching this film. Seeing a dog going through the external elements it’s hard to not to feel sorry and you hope she finds her way home.
Another “Heading Home” Movie
For those who like A Dog’s Way Home check out the Heading Home trailer. This is about the Tale Of Team Israel. After years of defeat, Israel’s national baseball team finally becomes eligible to compete in the World Baseball Classic. This charming documentary captures the pride of the participating athletes on the Israeli team, including several Jewish American Major League players. Play ball! This is Screening Tuesday, March 5, 10:00 AM at the Century 16 in Pleasant Hill.
What other reviewers think about A Dog’s Way Home:
|My kids have been tracking this movie for weeks and I had promised to bring them all (3 daughters all under 12.)|
Yes, this is the same story told again (Homeward Bound and it’s various sequels), however it’s a little different. The animals are animals, and they don’t talk, however the main dog (Bella) does tell the story from her point of view.
There are some areas where they replaced animals with CGI and some of it looks really good, but really fake, but 1- my kids didn’t notice all that much, and 2- it’s a movie… Let’s just turn off our minds for about 2 hours and just watch a wholesome family movie.
There were a number of crying kids, and even some of the adults walked out with some tears, so be prepared.
Overall it’s a really cute, adventurous, and fun movie! Perfect no, but it’s still great!
